The Community Extractives Governance Project was conceived on the backdrop of increasing reported cases of abuse of community rights in areas rich in natural resources. The 3 year project is supported by the DGF and it seeks to proactively address the plight of communities through deepening awareness of rights for communities at risk including human rights awareness.
